Algiz Rune 'Trust' Black Tourmaline & Malachite Amulet Pendant
In the Elder Futhark, Algiz is the most powerful rune for protection, defense, and spiritual growth.
Paired with the unique Brazilian Black Tourmaline, which has cracks that reflect the crystalline system within, the most powerful stone of absorption and deflection, and Malachite, the purifier and revealer of what lurks in the unconscious mind.
An amulet for the Scorpionic being who thrives on transformation, uncovering what lies beneath; the pure-hearted one who loves and gives with all they have; and the one who looks after the well-being of anyone they are with, knowing the other is as important as themselves.
'As I continue along my chosen path, I trust I am guided and protected.'

Runes
The Elder Futhark also known as the Older Futhark, Old Futhark, or Germanic Futhark, is the oldest form of the runic alphabets. It was a writing system used by Germanic peoples for Northwest Germanic dialects in the Migration Period. Inscriptions are found on artifacts including jewellery, amulets, plateware, tools, and weapons, as well as runestones, from the 2nd to the 8th centuries.
In Scandinavia, beginning in the late 8th century, the script was simplified to the Younger Futhark, while the Anglo-Saxons and Frisians instead extended it, giving rise to the Anglo-Saxon futhorc. Both the Anglo-Saxon futhorc and the Younger Futhark remained in use during the Early and the High Middle Ages respectively, but knowledge of how to read the Elder Futhark was forgotten until 1865, when it was deciphered by Norwegian scholar Sophus Bugge.
There are 24 in the original Futhark.
Mineralogy & Crystallography Malachite
Malachite is a monoclinic crystal structure.
Atoms form three axes; all of them are unequal in length, and none of them are right angles to each other. Its shape is three-dimensional like a cube, but it has been skewed or inclined to one side, making it oblique. All crystal faces are parallel to each other.
Malachite is a powerful green copper carbonate hydroxide mineral that is green due to the copper content.
Malachite is a deep green opaque gemstone with parallel bands and concentric rings, giving it a unique appearance. Its significance dates back to the ancient Egyptian and Greek civilizations, and its use has been important throughout the centuries. Malachite has historically been worn as a healing gemstone. It was used as a protection against the evil eye and given to children to wear to protect them from having nightmares.
The famous Russian malachite deposits were historically worked for use as a gemstone and carving stone, with malachite being especially used in the house of the Russian Czars.
Copper is a conductor and excellent for energy redistribution, so it is considered a feminine energy and green, corresponding to the heart space.Malachite is not toxic in polished form, so it is safe to wear and handle.
Mineralogy & Crystallography Black Tourmaline
The tourmaline crystal system is hexagonal. The hexagonal system is a crystal system of atoms in which the unit cell is a right prism on a lozenge-shaped base. A combination of three of these unit cells forms a hexagonal prism.
Schorl is best known as "Black Tourmaline." Chemical content is sodium iron aluminum borosilicate.
Schorl is the most common form of tourmaline and is one of the most aesthetic black minerals known. Although other forms of tourmaline may be black, schorl is exclusively black and, unlike other tourmaline forms, is never transparent or even translucent.
Black tourmaline is strongly pyroelectric, meaning that it has the capacity to generate an electrical charge during a temperature change.
This is why it is the most widely used crystal for protection against EMF and for warding away negative energy entities.
