Thurisaz Rune 'Drop the Baggage' Unisex Chrysocolla Malachite Amulet Pendant

Thurisaz is a rune that is often shunned by those who work with the runes; it represents the forces of chaos—that which we fear, the powerful emotions and drivers lurking beneath the surface. A giant, a thorn, a powerful, uncontrollable force.

Of course it is paired with Chrysocolla malachite, the energy that forces one to go within to face that thorn and pull it out and be free with a pure heart..

Actually, this Rune and crystal are the most genuine companions, as they are both like an unseen bodyguard. Both help you see and embrace, then harness, your inner power so you can feel more secure, face challenges head-on, and break through anything that’s holding you back.

Scary, however, why keep your finger plugged into the dam holding the torrent that wants to flow?

The saying 'pull your finger out' is what I heard creating this one. Once you decide holding onto the pain is too heavy, you can let it all wash over you and be free to accept the gifts for your bravery and courage.

There's always a blessing waiting for us when we drop the baggage.

Unisex.

The Elder Futhark  also known as the Older Futhark, Old Futhark, or Germanic Futhark, is the oldest form of the runic alphabets. It was a writing system used by Germanic peoples for Northwest Germanic dialects in the Migration Period.   Inscriptions are found on artifacts including jewellery, amulets, plateware, tools, and weapons, as well as runestones, from the 2nd to the 8th centuries.

In Scandinavia, beginning in the late 8th century, the script was simplified to the Younger Futhark, while the Anglo-Saxons and Frisians instead extended it, giving rise to the Anglo-Saxon futhorc. Both the Anglo-Saxon futhorc and the Younger Futhark remained in use during the Early and the High Middle Ages respectively, but knowledge of how to read the Elder Futhark was forgotten until 1865, when it was deciphered by Norwegian scholar Sophus Bugge.

There are 24 in the original Futhark.

  • Mineralogy & Crystallography Chrysocolla Malachite

Chrysocolla-Malachite is a feminine energy , gentler than Malachite alone, the onus is on heart opening and maintaining the channels to access heart easily when in times of stress. This means not attaching to mental dialogue to try to hide and do what you 'should' according to outside influences, and trusting the process of life.

Chrysocolla is a hydrated copper phyllosilicate mineral and mineraloid, known for its striking blue-green colors and association with copper deposits. It's a relatively soft stone, with a hardness ranging from 2.5 to 7.0, and is often found in botryoidal, rounded masses or crusts. It's also known for its association with other copper minerals like malachite and azurite.
