Goddess Iris Goddess of Sky and Sea - I created these Goddesses awhile ago, a series and these two are remaining - 'Abundance' and Cherish' with incredible raw Amethyst as nature created deep in the Earth.
 
This is 'Cherish.'
 
There is no paint on these creations, each colour you see was hand-mixed painstakingly so they were a true labour of love.

I don't use Polymer clay so there is no plastic in my creations.
 
Iris is the Goddess of the Rainbow in Greek Mythology.
 
Iris represents peace, protection, air, meditation, promises or vows and beginnings. Her symbols are rainbows and water. This Greek messenger to the gods traverses between the Earth and heavens, appearing as a winged maiden on a shining, hopeful rainbow. In this form She represents the calm after the storm. The spectrum of light waves. Iris is associated with Charon, the spirit being who guides the dead over the River Styx safely. Iris shines her light to guide us after the dark night where seeing was limited, into the light where all can be seen. Iris is associated with Hades, the underworld, the place where shadows appear a threat but where our true power lies, Iris is always there in the darkness waiting for us to remember life is not as black and white as the conditioned mind says due to its self-created identity infatuation with itself. These Goddesses are VIBRANT and pulsating with all of life.
 
Amethyst is purple Quartz and Quartz is the most powerful generator. 
 
Purple amethyst is said to provide emotional support in the form of confidence and calmness. This includes protection from the negativity of stress and anxiety. Many people use this stone for work-related stress and meditation. Amethyst corresponds to the 3rd eye, the seat of our intuition, our direct connect to the divine or Universal wisdom.
