Mookaite Ancient Mother Wisdom Pendant

Mookaite is an Australian Jasper found only in Western Australia. These beautiful specimens are brecciated and were purchased directly from the person who mined it and polished it, at Mooka Creek. 

Its one of the last pieces in my collection from them.

The name "mookaite" is derived from the locality where the crystal is dug - Mooka Creek. According to locals, the Aboriginal word "mooka" means "running waters".
 
Mookaite is a fossiliferous sedimentary rock. The correct geological term for the formation that mookaite occurs in is called 'Windalia Radiolarite'. Stratigraphic relationships with adjacent units, indicate that the Windalia Radiolarite formed on a marine shelf, so, the blessed waters that once flowed on the earth in that part of Australia which are now red earth, are present in the energy of this piece. 

The primordial, like the unconscious, is directing our lives until it is unearthed and brought into the light of Concscious awareness. The root chakra, the Spine, with the nervous system, spidery nerves like tree roots and branches rivers are a reflection all life interconnected.
